Schaeffer, Mary, composer, author, pianist, organist; b. Christiansburg, Va., Feb. 4. ASCAP 1938. Educ.: private school; Montgomery College. At five, music lessons from Van Wagner; later years with Prof. Brow-nold. At twelve, played for motion picture theaters and church. Later to Roanoke, Va.; played four different theaters as organist and also did radio broadcasts.
